Our Breeder Loft has begun to prove itself in its first year. All of our Foundation Cocks this year along with most of our hens came from David Scott at Crosslander's Breeding Lofts. David all we can say is the biggest "THANK YOU!" for guiding us in the development of our breeding program here at Under His Wings Loft! This has been an exciting year breeding and racing!
Our number #1 breeding pair "De Millionair" CBL 06 119 and "Queen Abby" CBL 07 403 produced a fantastic race bird their first year of breeding "Sterling 44" AU 09 ARPU 5444 who went to all 8 races. "Sterling 44" won First Ace Young Bird in the Club and won 1 x1st, 1x2nd=1st, and 1x2nd.
"Nitro" AU 08 ARPU 7680 excellent Hofkens breeding cock from CBL in his first year as Sire bred for us a strong racing cock "De 52" AU 09 ARPU 5452 who also went to all 8 races. "De 52" won 2nd Ace Young Bird in the Club also won 1x1st, 1x2nd, and 1x3rd.
"Bronze De Kas" AU 08 ARPU 7733 a Double in-bred grandson of "De Kas 1245" bred his first winner which was the first bird that he ever produced--what a fantastic start. This was the 79th winner down from "De Kas 1245."
"Clear Ice" AU 07 CBL 416 his first year as Sire produced AU 09 ARPU 5441 who was 1st place winner on a tuff 226 mile race that was windy, cloudy and warm at 85 degrees -5441 also won 3rd =1st and 1 x3rd. "Clear Ice" also sired a Buckeye Challenge One Loft 150 mile race winner AU 09 ARPU 5466 who won 8th=1st ten birds on the first drop.
AU 09 ARPU 5498 whose sire is AU 06 CBL 030 from Crosslanders - "KV-30" who is owned by the Williams Family Loft in Slidell, LA has produced many winners. Thanks to WFL for sending us 5498 who is an excellent racer. 5498 won 1 x 1st and 1 x 2nd another outstanding racer down from the breeding of CBL!

Champion Loft in the Combine was won with 9055 points and 143 clockings beating the second loft in the Combine by 4692 points and 80 clockings! We produced the first 9 Champion Young Birds in the Combine. 7 of the first 9 Champions are down from "1245". We won average speed in the Combine by more than 2 hours.
We produced the first 9 Champion Young Birds in the Combine. We won 26 Diplomas
in the Combine.
On the National Level we had the following results taken from the American Racing Pigeon Union National Data base:
National Ace Pigeon out of 2,573 qualifying birds we had 9 birds in the top 10% with 6 birds in the top 5%.
Lakes Zone Ace Pigeon (IN, KY, OH, MI, WV) out of 2,468 qualifying birds we had 9 birds in top 10% and 6 birds in top 5%. We won the following places in this Five State Zone:
4, 11, 17, 24, 26, 31, 46, 61, and 75.
